Evaluation Framework

This program's outcome evaluation is based on the Community Toolbox Framework, a free, online resource first developed in 1994 by the University of Kansas to support community health and development programs. Its tools and process help program developers organize their thinking and orient programs towards intended outcomes rather than on [often limited] resources. For those of us trained to start with the end in mind, it resonates strongly, taking us on a journey of "walking back" from intended outcomes to clarify what needs to be in place to get there.
